The Novoferm sectional garage door range made of solid wood is made using five standard patterns: “London”, “Madrid”, “Paris”, “Amsterdam”, “Rome” (see illustrations from top to bottom).

with operator as standard and offer a high degree of safety, operating convenience and durability.

The solid wood doors are made of water resistant bonded multi-layer boards of nordic pine (3 layers) or okoumé (5 layers), as they are also used in shipbuilding. To effectively protect them from the influences of weather it is absolutely essential to apply surface treatment before installation.

The door patterns “London” and “Madrid” are supplied as standard with a black exterior handle; for the door patterns “Amsterdam”, “Paris” and “Rome” you have the possibility of positioning the handle variably, i.e. on the left, in the middle or on the right.

There are perfectly matching side doors that can be chosen to open inwards or outwards, left or right. The ready-to-install doors consist of a door frame with wrap-around seal and a door leaf made of rectangular steel pipe on which the solid wood multi-layer boards are mounted. The doors are supplied as standard with a black rounded handle set and a lock with security profile cylinder. The height of the handle lies between 830 and 1050 mm above finished floor. The panelling between the door and side door can vary slightly due to technical reasons without disturbing the complete optical impression.

In spite of all modern mechanical aids, wooden sectional doors are still only a piece of real handwork. That is why the grain of no one of them looks the same as another. Every individual door segment made of selected woods is expertly joined together until a perfect and unique door specimen has been created.

If one of the Novoferm solid wood doors still does not have the individual character you want, the solid wood sectional door “Berlin” (illustration right at the bottom) offers you a special challenge. Here you can, yourself or with the support of your architect or artist, realize an entirely personal garage door design. This can be a scenic picture, favourite old-timer, monogram or family coat of arms – with the “Berlin” model (almost) everything is possible!
